    Default Quran translation with transliteration

    Salam,

Can anyone recommend a good one? What I need is for the Arabic script to be very clear and easy to read. I'd like to give it to someone as a gift, inshAllah. I'm in London UK.

    Thanks in advance.

Mufti Taqi Uthmani sahib's Translation has both transliteration as well as translation. It also has short tafseer in English too . It's in two volumes. http://albalagh.net/bookstore/?action=view&item=1137

    Salam,

Thanks brothers. What is the Arabic script like? Is it easy to read? I went to my local Islamic bookshop, and although they have translations and transliteration, the Arabic script is either a little fancy or it's a bit too small.

I might go down to Manor Park and see for myself, but would prefer to order it.

This is just my personal opinion.

I dont trust Salafi publications. they tend to edit & add according to their ways.

this is just my opinion from the books i have from dar us salaam. Allahu alum.

The publisher is not Darussalam. It is from Dar al Maarifah, Syria http://www.easyquran.com/en/first.htm Darussalam sells it.

Edit: well, you can also buy from somewhere else too: http://www.islamicbookstore.com/b8966.html

I would like to add that the quality of paper and binding of Mufti Taqi Uthmanis translation was not so pleasing as I think it comes directly from pakistan to the UK ware houses. How ever the work is superb.

I only recomemnded this one as the first brother did ask for a London location.

Can you confirm my opinion on DarusSalaam publications, or give your opinion too?
