Days, weeks, months,
Years…
Stationary movement,
Same old mistakes over and over, again and again,
Same indifference disguised as helplessness,
Nonchalance blinds one from impending hurricanes of Anger,
Reliance on others gives life to apathy,
Pathetic states reverberate without conscience,
Repentance has become a crutch for the gambler,
Sins committed in lieu of mountains of expectation,
Another launch of carefully aimed dice,
Planned manoeuvres enacted on an island of existence,
Only fatigue dictates the cessation of ignorance,
Hearts heavy with guilt weigh down on exuberance,
Negativity conveniently supports the vessels of perception,
Lethal injection.
Shallow dreaming penetrates deeply into individual universes,
Lethargy drips lazily from whirling timepieces,
Oceans of inactivity drown pebbles of insignificance,
Tomorrow is often the busiest day of the year.
Skyward contemplation never answers back miserly,
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a mere step,
From archived libraries a few good words provide sparks,
Potential burns best when lit from within,
Hope sustains fire as action sustains hope,
Tilting towers scatter grounded rusted anchors of inertia,
Momentum increases as smiling gravity assists lovingly,
Positive trajectory illustrated by internal illumination,
Rapid inhalation indication of Divine assistance,
Millions having travelled now lay waiting for Mercy,
Pass them by, Seize the time,
Put the pen down,
And stand up,
It’s not over yet,
We’re back!
