Shakir:
[009:100] And (as for) the foremost, the first of the Muhajirs and the Ansars, and those who followed them in goodness, Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Him, and He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them for ever; that is the mighty achievement.
Well what i understand from this verse is that :
Allah prepared gardens for muhajirs and ansar.. since he was pleased with them.. now why is Allah saying that he have prepared gardens beneath which rivers flow? Because we know that the judgement that who will go into paradise will be done on the day of judgement.. and there is even a possibility that people may do something wrong in the later part of their lives.. So why did Allah say all these for muhajirs and ansar like:
a. He is well pleased with them
b. he has prepared for them gardens
c. this is a mighty achievement(meaning they have achieved it)
It is because of the ilm e ghaib of Allah.. he knew that all these people will surely die as the firm believers, that is why he said he was pleased with them , AND HE HAD PREPARED JANNAH FOR THEM WHICH IS A MIGHTY ACHIEVEMENT.
And is there any one in history to whom Allah said that he had PREPARED for them Jannah and that he was pleased with them, yet later they died as disbelievers or that Allah called them disbelievers?
I dont think so there can be any such person, because the statement of Allah was knowledge of future , he knew what all these muhajirs and ansar will be doing in this life on account of that he DECLARED: HE WAS PLEASED WITH THEM AND THAT HE HAD PREPARED JANNAH FOR THEM, WHICH WAS A MIGHTY ACHIEVEMENT OF THEIRS
