Plz help me with this hadiths plz!!!

Asalmwalykum ther eis a hadiths Abu Darda narrated that the Prphet saw (more or less(im not tabligi)) that Allah will make you his favored one if you recite a dua 25-27 times everyday........................SO MY QUESTION IS THAT does everyday ean after margrib to the next days magrib between that TIME? ORR ONLY IN THE DAY TIMES? AND ANOTHER QUESTION IS IF WE EXCEED the amount to like say 35 will we get the same benefit!?!??! PLZ HELP ME ITS DRIVING ME NUTS

plz help does everyday mean only in daytime or anytime between magrib to next day magrib? can it more than than amount given Please I need to satisfy my heart shaytaan whispering alot,

It seems that you are writing that Abu Darda(ra) narrated from the Prophet(saws) that, "I am not a tablighi".

normally when it says everday then it refers to morning and evening. For this you read after Fajr and after Maghrib.

If a hadith mentions a specific amount, then that is a wazeefa which is specific to that number. However, many times different ahadeeth mention different numbers. Then all those different numbers will derive the respective benefits given in hadeeth. In case the number is not mentioned in the hadeeth then it usually means to recite it abundantly.

17600 - وعن أبي الدرداء قال : سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم يقول :
من استغفر للمؤمنين والمؤمنات كل يوم سبعا وعشرين مرة أو خمسا وعشرين مرة - أحد العددين - كان من الذين يستجاب لهم ويرزق بهم أهل الأرض
رواه الطبراني وفيه عثمان بن أبي العاتكة وقال فيه : حدثت عن أم الدرداء وعثمان هذا وثقه غير واحد وضعفه الجمهور وبقية رجاله المسمين ثقات

could i re ad lets say: so basically i can read anytime after magrib to the next magrib since thats one whole day?? and between this time if i pass the mark of 25-27 times thats done case closed, i aslo recited more would that harm the reward of the hadiths??? plz help
