i have seen Asian women saying things like my majazi khuda to their husbands, it seems to boderline shirk in its zahiri meaning

    wallahu alam
Chaska laga hai khoon-e-tamana ka is tarha
Us khoon mein nahatay hai hum jaan bhooj kar
khushiyon se rooth jate hai hum jaan bhooj kar
Gham mein khushi manatey hai hum jaan bhooj kar

Seems like clear shirk to me in its literal meaning, but it is best one asks a Mufti. However I would renew my nikah merely out of doubt, as there is nothing wrong with renewing one's nikah. All you need is two males, they can even be brothers or other relatives, and for the husband to ask the wife, "are you my wife" and her to reply " Yes I am your wife". There is no need for a khutbah or a Moulana etc. etc.
What is destined will reach you, even if it be underneath two mountains. What is not destined, will not reach you, even if it be between your two lips

"Khuda" does not just refer to a deity that is worshipped, at least not in Persian (which is where the term originates from). It was, and to an extent still is, common to refer to the owner of a house as the "Khuda" of the house. Furthermore, it was also common to refer to the husband as the "Khuda" of the wife.

Not sure where it comes from, but Arabs call the father "rabbul Bayt". Allahu 'alam

If the sister has used the sentence in its apparent meaning which is my God, then she needs to renew her Islam and Nikah. WS.

Hum ghareebon ke aaqa pe behad durood, Hum faqeeron ki sarwat pe laakhon salaam.

Can we have a proper scholar here please? If people do not understand the difference between metaphor, custom, literal e.t.c. language then they must also apply the same to this phrase:

next time you tell someone "please help me" renew your faith.
