    Default Saba'a Qiraa'at

    As Salaam Alikum,

I am posting this to see if there are any brothers interested in learning Saba'a Qiraa'at tareeq Shatibyaah. I am planning to teach this. The course will have two parts. part 1 will cover usooll from the famous poem Hirz ul Amaani wa Wajhu Tahaani by Imam Shaatiby. Part 2 will be implementing these usool and recite all Qur'an in all riwaayah.

Riwaayah that be in taught are:

1 Qaloon and Warsh An Nafie.
2 Bazzi and Qumbul An Ibn Katheer
3 Doori and Soosi An Abu Amar
4 Hishaam and Ibn Dhakwaan An Ibn e Aamir
5 Shuaba'a and Hafs An Aasim
6 Khalaf and Khallad An Hamzah
7 Laith Abul Haarith and Doori An Kisaa'ie.

I can either teach all riwaayah in Jam ul Jam (combined manor) or specific riwaayah that interests you.

Please respond if you are interested.

    Jazak Allah.

I have been teaching the 10 Qiraat by both Sughra and Kubra for over 6 years now .

My experience has been that in the west there is very little interrest in people wanting to study the Qiraat and other Quranic sciences.

There is a large focus on hadith studies here in the west and fiqh .

People don't see the effort and time is put in studying Qiraat so there is little apprecaiation for Muqris .

I have been trying to get students to study the shaatibiya with me but with very little luck

    Wa Salikum Salaam,

I would be interested in learning Kubra from you if you have time to teach.

    Jazak Allah.

    Wa Alaikum Salaam,

I live in US. I am teaching it locally in our masjid to a few students.

I will teach only to male students.

You must be able to recite Hafs fluently with tajweed. If you are a hafiz then that is a PLUS. So to answer your question I can teach online on Wiziq.

    Jazak Allah.

Surely you do not teach shaatibiya without having memorised the Quran in one riwaya

Jazak Allah. My understanding is many turq in Kubra are non-muttafiqan Alaih thus cant be recited in salaat. Where as in Sughra: Saba is Muttafiqah alaih and Thalaatah per Durrah is non-muttafiqan Alaih.

Other thing is did you recite entire Qur'an in Kubra or just one Juz?
