(-The example I think is comparing on abruptness of things going wrong. A clear white milk ready to be drunk could be spoiled in a minute by a single dirt splash in it just like your fine self, who could become a begger any minute.)

I really want to know what the main chorus means (HadhratJi begins with it and repeats it throughout). I think the second part means:

Don't understand this annhiliation to be annihiliation - annihiliate this too O faqeer
Whoever thinks "ah yes I have annihiliated (my ego)" then he has yet not annihilated himself

Then I don't understand anything for a while (from 1:15 ish; except for what's above which is repeated)

Then at 2:50

Do not think that your staying awake at night has made you of the Awliya (another part a Shaykh?)
[Then there's a reference to the dog awaking in the night/staying up in the night. And of the dog eating meagre pieces to eat and its relation to it's Malik - I really want to understand this part fully]

Then at 4:58 HadhratJi says the bit in Arabic which I understand (mutu qabla an tamutu - die before you die) but what does the Punjabi mean after it? Something about "coming alive"??

Is he reciting a Sultan Bahu (RA) poem?? it sounds familiar to me, like one of sultan bahus poems. many of his poems were in Punjabi

Wa alykum Asalam dear brother,

Yes, your understanding is correct but when you connect all pieces, the entire theme just melts you down.

This is a heart moving kalaam and I do not want to do unjustice to the beautiful nasheed with quick general translation. I have a big exam hanging on my head, please give me some time and il thoroughly translate it for you word by word so a proper translation is done.

Il try my best but my punjabi is not professional like Hadhrat g..
