    Default The SF Poem

If Adam (as) had passed the test,
None of us would be in this mess,
No school, no job, no bills to pay,
With Hur e Ayn in Jannah we would lay...

    can anyone add on?

Most generous of mankind, I have no one to take refuge in,
Except you at the occurrence of widespread calamity.

But Allah Ta'aala is All Aware
And knew of how Adam Alayhis Salaam would fare
So Adam and Hawwa were sent to this Earth
Made of wind and water, grass and dirt
Lost in an ocean of doubt and confusion am I
    Seeking Your burning beacon light

I'm not a poet but here you go...

And among the multitudes of progeny,
Some chose to disobey their Lord consciously.
    Disobedience eventually leads to disbelief,
    And disbelief to eternal grief.
So Allah Almighty in His Infinite Mercy
Sent men to correct the worldly journey

From amongst these specially chosen men
Was he who preached 940 years and 10
Teaching mankind to whom their worship was due
But the people did reject the Messenger Nuh
Lost in an ocean of doubt and confusion am I

So when the people rejected their rasool and did not give the kalimah its worth
Nuh prayed, "O my Rabb! Do not leave even one of the Kaafiroon (alive) on earth."
Those Mu'mineen who embarked on Nuh ark were only a few
Various reports cite numbers from six to eighty-two
Hearts are predisposed to love someone who does them good and to detest someone who does them harm.

Generations later did a man, no a mere boy, arise,
Who fell not for his father and his community's lies.
Entered he (as) into the idol's temple, axe in hand
To rid the stench of shirk from his land.

Debate with the ruler, Nemrud, he did,
About the nature of those who lived.
The debate moved on the sun that shone,
Ibrahim announced that it was controlled by Allah, and him alone.

The false God began to fear for his throne,
Thus, into the inferno was Ibrahim thrown.
But verily Allah's mercy is boundless,
And Eden awaited Ibrahim, it's bounties countless.

Of wives Ebrahim had two, Sarah and Hajira
Of whom the latter is known for living in the barren Makkah Mukarramah.
Of the former, a child for her was merely a lifelong dream
Yet a son from her came, and from him came the third Kareem

Kareem son of Kareem son of Kareem son of Kareem
Yusuf son of Ya'qoob son of Ishaaq son of Ibraheem
Greatness was a stamp on the young Yusuf as a child
Although cast aside was he by his brothers into the wild
Lost in an ocean of doubt and confusion am I

masha'Allah we got some hidden poets on this thing, very talented creative writers masha'Allah.

The father of all these great men was Adam,
Yes, yes, I said, "Aaa Dum!"
As in his non existence pleaded, "O life, please come!"

    Thats just one tiny masla,
    Of the Qadriyyah Silsilah,
    Regarding imkaan and wujud,
To some it sounds like "blah blah blah."

The disrespectful Fusus said that his father Adam had failed the test,
But Fusus didnt realize that Adam's heart was a ma'rifat treasure chest,
Adam's mistake was written ages before his birth,
A Divine hand was behind the scenes doing His work.

Adam made no excuse despite knowing what was going on,
He just said, "O Allah, forgive me for I have done wrong."
The subservient Adam not once made an excuse or let his temper flame,
Unlike Fusus who on his father puts all the blame.

Adam, what a jewel, before whom all the angels had bowed down,
Except for Iblis, his arrogance caused him to do a major wrong,
Look at the fate of the haughty, the proud, those who chase after fame,
Shaytaan Rajeem he is known as, no one even likes to take his name.

Adam and Hawwa were then sent to the Earth,
From them the entire mankind was given a birth,
I dont know how many children they had but its no doubt,
From them the entire mankind came about.

Learn a lesson O Salik from the mention of Nuh,
That sometimes a shaikh can have just one mureed or at the most two,
But tell me in the whole world did you ever see,
A shaikh like Shams Tabrez and his sole student Rumi?

The number of mureeds, or followers, really matters not,
Its all about the lessons that are taught,
Sometimes not a single mureed they keep to tame,
Some are so unknown no one even knows their name.

Learn a lesson O Daee from the life of Nuh,
Dawat demands patience through and through,
What is your four months compared to 950 years?
Just thinking about the sacrifice brings me to tears.

Nuh did dawat for some 950 years,
But the people shunned him and stuck their fingers in their ears,
His boat they would use as a bathroom and make it impure,
So Allah simply made their own feces as the only means for their cure.

See how Allah swt works in His amazing ways,
Just establish yourself upon His command and on His power and might keep your gaze,
He controls every heart, every creature in His control,
Many many incidents of His power and might have been told.

Mu means water and Sa means tree,
Musa, the one found between water and a tree,
Firaun set out to kill every single child,
Yet took in a random baby he found in the wild.

Hazrat Aasia exclaimed how Musa will be coolness for their eyes,
But man o man did Firaun get a surprise.

If Allah wills this poem will keep going,
but its 230 and I must now be going,
Fajr jamaat stands at 530 and at that time I dont want to be snoring,
Worship of Allah swt is the joy of life, without it life is boring.

Most generous of mankind, I have no one to take refuge in,
Except you at the occurrence of widespread calamity.

the poem has to go on and so shall it will
like the flowing river the life doesnt remain still
for where fusus shines, hearts of others remain ill
some ponder on the past, others strive to look within

let us now move from whats gone, lessons taken
to what is there , and much to be shaken
the ills, the pills, the medic, the sheikh
tafakkur on the radha'il we instill within

Will fusus leave the other crying for water
at the suffering of hearts will his nafs not waver
Write O mighty poet, pour your heart out
Teach the slaves the way towards their creator
