What is Madhhabs ?

Sir/ Madam,

Come across I never ever seen any word or mater which can divided Muslim people call Madhhabs In the Quran and Sahih Hadith . I know only two world which can divided human being into two parts one call believer and another call non believer . Believer means Muslm , and Non believer means Non Muslim .

Islam means: Peace acquire by total submitting the will of almighty Allah . And Muslim means: the person who peace acquire by total submitting the will of almighty Allah .

Can any body enlightening me from the Islam means "Quran and Sahih Hadith" ; Where the people get the word of Madhhabs and where from people get the words call Hanfi , Shafi, Maliki etc ..

Please provide me the context and quotation and references along with your answer .

You can use the search engine for that. A person really wouldn't have an issue with the definition of "Madhhab" if he knows where the word originates from.

Here I would like to inform you that, This is also a discussion forum . here we are sharing our view of understanding of the particular topic . So that we can share our view and help each other to understand batter the particular issue . I could search in the search engine such as google are many other if I would wanted to search through search engine . But I post here because I want to know your understanding and your prove .

So it could be batter for me if you reply directly to the point rather then advising search engine . We should not be so lazy to open our mouth for educated the people rather then speak clearly .

I'm well aware that this is forum is open for discussions, I'm also aware that the topic of Madhaahib (plural of madhhab) have been discussed from different angles (up, down, upside down, left, right, diagonally etc. you name it.) and from different kinds of people (sincere learners, people with alterior motives like posting questions to mislead others to dismantle the connection to/with authentic scholarship in Islam, or those who are just confused on how Shari'ah works).

I don't know about you but when I need to decide on important things in my life I refer to specialist (those who have expertise in their field) to make conclusions with a sound mind and heart. That's why the sister posted those links of specialists explaining in detail, what a madhhab is.

If that doesn't suit you then it's like you asking a public forum about treatment for a terminal illness instead of going to a physician.

Sir/Madam,

As per my knowledge " Hanfi, Shafi , malqi etc are the person's names who were the scholar of the Islamc knowledge . Neither Allah nor Mohammad (PBUH) said to us that, identify our self by the name of those great scholar names . I ask to all Madhhabs people that, If tomorow I will become a great scholar then, will you indentify your self by my name , example: Hopeonallahfi ?

In my school , my favourite teacher's name was Harish chandra. Harish Chandra was a very good in mathematics . Today I am a great mathematician . So, will you indentify my self as a Harish Chandrafi ? Tomorrow if you become my student , will you prefer to identify your self as a Harish Chandrafi ?

Dont you think its exterminate of Islam by indentify our self as a Hanfi, Shafi etc ... ? Because which are does not exist in Islam

Here I would like to mention that, Scholar are not prophets. They are just simple scholar not even the part of the companion of Mohammad (PBUH) . If Allah wants and if you try tomorrow you can be a bigger scholar then those great scholar . Don't you know that ?
You madhhabi people like to identify you self by the name of your scholars then, why dont you identify your self by the name of Mohammad (PBUH) ? Of course Mohammad (PBUH) is the greater then all scholars . Then you can tell your self as a Mohammadan if some one ask your Madhhab .

Do you know such type of tarminologies are not exist in Islam . Those tarminologies are providing by the out side people means not by the Mohammad(PBUH) nor by the Allah . Not to mention that those things are not DEEN ( religion or Islam) which are not matching with Allah's words as well as saying of Mhammad(PBUH) . Please remember dont go to extreme beyond of Word of Allah and saying of Mohammad (PBUH) it will be misguidance by Satan in a very diplomatic way; you can call it silver way .

It is my knowledge . If you have batter knowledge then please share with me . I love to correct my self by right way . thank you ....
