In one of the random quotes, the aayah 21:18 (al-Anbiyaa) has been translated as such:
"Nay, We hurl the Truth against falsehood, and it knocks out its brain, and behold, falsehood doth perish! Ah! woe be to you for the (false) things ye ascribe (to Us)."
I understand the perhaps dimaagh (brain) might be derived from this verb or vice versa, but does damagha yadmaghu have the meaning of 'knocking out a brain'?
