fight back. Learn pure quranic arabic, speak it to your childrem launch campaigns to sptread teh language, dont allow the kuffar to strike another nail in the coffin of todays muslim ummah. The prophet said that Islaam will one day return to the arabic peninsular like a snake returns to its lair, dont let that happen in our life times. Arabic is an important part of our religion and there is a reason the kuffar attack arabic. It links us to teh holy qur'an and we can understand what we hear in taraweeh etc.

The problem in today's generation that they think that Arabic is not cool anymore and they prefer to speak English or a mix of Arabic and English not realsing the importance of this great language and how privileged they are to have learned the language of Quran.

This is an interesting thread. Many people do not make an effort to learn and they prefer to speak some weak dialect of theirs instead or English. English is replacing many languages because it dominates the workforce now. This is what I have been hearing from a few friends overseas.

Concern for Arabic language: appreciable, but, what about arabic (islamic) culture. Tight Jeans, T-shirts, skirts, midis, transparent clothing etc.

To illustrate your point, just the other day on TV I saw some Tunisian or Egyptian "rapper" rapping in a corrupted version of the language of the Quran.
