how does a scab affect wudhu and ghusl? does it have to be removed (which could cause bleeding) or just left and washed over?

    Assalamu 'alaykum,

It has to be left alone and water poured over it. It's part of one's body. Removing it may cause harm, expose the wound to germs, cause the wound to take longer to heal etc.

Scab: (dry, rough protective crust that forms over a cut or wound during healing)
