    Default Hanafi Fiqh book

Asalaam aleykum my respected brothers and sisters, I was once recommended a book entitled Heavenly Ornaments which I found:

    http://www.amazon.com/Bahishti-Zewar.../dp/8185213224

Alhamdulillah it is a good long book but I feel that the translation is lacking and find it at times confusing due to this issue, can anyone point me towards a better translated book or something better to teach the Hanafi fiqh?

    Assalamu aliakum,

    For North America: http://www.al-rashad.com/Heavenly-Or...at_p_2534.html

    For Europe: http://www.azharacademy.com/scripts/...idproduct=1629

In my opinion this is the best edition.

Jazakallah khair brother! Do you know if this is the complete book or do I have to buy in volumes?

    Assalamu alaiakum,

The ones I linked comes in 1 volume and is the complete version. I believe some not relevant material in the modern times have been omitted in the translation, but I believe 95% of the book is there in the one volume.

Jazakallah khair brother, what would be irrelevant in today's time? I ask only out of curiosity.

I am not sure but I heard some cooking recipes, or something, and some other things were omitted.

I am a very big fan of the book. The edition I linked to is the best in my opinion.

This translation used in the edition is published by other publishers as well - but this edition also has references. The translation itself is on the internet.

    http://www.4shared.com/document/.../...Zewar_-_2.html

Even though its two files here the book is one volume (ZamZam and Darul Ishaat publishers). The Altaf and Sons edition is in two volumes.

Really? Wallahi lol just earlier today around the time I started typing up this thread I was wondering if I should also look up a book for some good "Islamic" recipes for me to cook for my wife

Due to the translation of the book I did not read the whole of it, but if it has recipes in it I will delve back into the one I have to look them up but will inshalla order this new edition this week inshalla.
