Is it necessary to perform 'complete' wudu before each of the five obligatory prayers?

The necessity depends on ones state of impurity. Eg: A person takes wudu and prays Dhur at noon. Now he/she is in a state of wudu, free from minor impurities. Unless he/she does any of the following actions which breaks wudu:


Minor impurity is caused by 6 factors:
w1. Anything which exits from the Private parts, both front and back (eg: passing gas or feaces, urinating etc).
w2. Discharge of Blood, pus or serum from any part of the body.
w3. Vomiting, if it was a mouthful.
w4. Sleeping. ie Lying down, or leaning [on one's side] or reclining such that if it were removed he would fall.
w5. Loss of consciousness through fainting or insanity.
w6. Laughter in any prayer containing ruku` and sujud.


If not he/she is in a state of wudu till it happens. So after a few hours after Dhur its Asr time. Now if none of the above things have happened there is no need of taking wudu again as the person is already in a state of wudu. I hope I am clear.
