Clarification on eating dua and hadith needed pls.

But can someone please provide the hadith (in arabic and english if possible) that provides evidence for this?

I am asking for clarifications of the duas in this thread and my other thread as i need to show my childrens teacher in their maktab as my kids have been told that they have learnt it wrong and are being made to learn it in the wrong way.

This is one of those cases which will be very hard to tackle.
Unless a big name scholars point this out to masses, I do not think the general maktabs, or even the Imams would pay attention to it.

The correct versions of these duaas were published by Mufti Ismail Kachholwi sahab in his book Mufeedul Muslimeen. Many years ago he pointed out the mistakes in one of the monthly local ulamah meetings and since then nearly all our local Deobandi makaatib teach the correct version so it's quite common knowledge amongst the Maktab teachers here. You could refer the teacher to Maulana Ishaq (Mufti sahibs son) or get a copy of Mufeedul Muslimeen which is easily available here.
