Witr (Tag: Qunut) Question - Shafi'i Fiqh

Salam.

According to Shafi'i, it is sunnah muakkadah to perform three raka'ah witr after performing tarawih in the whole Ramadan.
So, when is the best time to perform qunut in salat al-witr? Is it through the whole Ramadan, or is it at the 15th night of Ramadan, or is it at the 16th night of Ramadan?

Qunut in witr is only recommended during the second half of Ramadan, starting the night of the 16 (remember that the night precedes the day, i.e. the 16 starts at night after maghrib).

The Shafi Qunoot is recited after rising from Ruku after saying the 'Hamd' rabbana walakal Hamd.

There is no takbir when coming up from ruku' or before starting qunut. The takbir is made upon finishing qunut when moving into sujud.
