Any person who insults Rasulullah sallahuwaslaam is a kafir. This is the aqaaid of the deobandis.

    Walaikum Salam ,

    Brother, for your notice
    False Allegation
Ashraf Ali Thanvi, a founder member of Deoband says: 'The Holy Prophet (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam) has an education like that of children, lunatics and animals of every category.' (Hifzul Imaan pg. 7)

    The Truth
The view of Hadhrat Moulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi is that: Hadhrat Moulana was asked, 'Did you in Hifzul Imaan or any other book write anything directly or indirectly comparing the education of Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam) to that of children, lunatics and animals? If not then what is your ruling regarding a person who holds such a belief?' In reply to that Moulana states, 'Let alone writing such falsehood and filth, my heart had never even perceived such falsehood and verily if anyone holds such a belief he is out of the fold of Islam.' (Faisal-e-Khusoomat pg. 21)

    Clarification
Hadhrat Hakimul Ummah, Moulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi (author of the famous 'Bahishti Zewar') did not write the abovementioned statement in Hifzul Imaan. Nor is it his belief. It is a slander on the said Moulana. In fact Hadhrat Moulana has stated clearly in 'Hifzul Imaan' that, 'Knowledge with regard to the Excellence of Prophethood has been bestowed totally upon Rasul (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam) (Hifzul Imaan pg. 12)

There was no comparison made of the knowledge of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) and others. A comparison was made about the DEFINITION and TERM of the "ghayb" which is shared by EVERYBODY, since every person and animal on this planet knows something, that others do not know.

Furthermore, the Malikis were criticized for their harsh stances on sabb an-nabi. See the comments of Dhahabi.

Moreover, the Barelwis were the first (see anwar sati'a) who made the comparsion of the Messenger with the devil, because "the devil is present in every place, so why can't the Prophet be present in every place."

Moreover, a lot of Sufi Mashayikh do the same and say that their Sufi Shaykh resembled the Prophet. There is a video on the net where the student of Mahmud Effendi gave the exact statement.
And if he were to ask for a gentle lady in marriage, he would be refused, and when he leaves the world it does not miss him, and if he goes out, his going out is not noticed, and if he falls sick, he is not attended to, and if he dies, he is not accompanied to his grave.
