I have been very busy today so i'll probably have a look at it tonight. This ibarat has been taken from Muhit with slightly different wording. I will go through it properly and insha-Allah reply tonight.

This is correct. The 7th day is the 6th طلوع الشمس. Thereafter the 10th day is the 9th طلوع الشمس, however it wont be taken as الدم المتوالى because طهر is now 3.

To put this topic in a simplified manner it needs to be carefully thought out with loads of examples. Due to being pressed for time it has been difficult to work on this. If I do find time to complete what was started insha-Allah I will post it up on the forum.

Ya Shaikh al-kareem. This whole issue is confusing not because it is ultra difficult a subject, but because information is scattered all over. What's more is, the answers given to questions in the books or various places online, are given without what the issue is entangled with. For example, it is omitted to mention she needs to perform Qada of prayers on days in between her norm and 10 day-limit, when the bleeding exceeded not only her norm, but also 10 days. Hence difficulties arise. I think it is possible to put whole issue together in a small booklet for anyone to understand it.

    Assalaamu Alaykum
I have two questions for Maulana Keepthegazedown:

    1. In the copy of Dhukr I ordered from Ustadha Hedayas website, on page 133 and subsequent pages it says Mubtada'ah not mubtadi'ah.
I always thought it was an ism fa'il. Which is correct? and for intermittant purity are both forms ism mafool and fa'il correct? I've seen both used.

    2. In a previous post you mentioned the following excerpt had to be understood with its quyood. I was looking at this the other day and wanted to know
what exactly was meant by it being saheeh? And what where the implications? Does it just mean that these say 7 days of habit are valid as hayd or are
there further implications? That set of bleeding went beyond ten days, so as a whole, it is not valid for establishing a habit, so by saying saheeh here, what is
implied? is it in relation to the tuhr before it?
