Actually, we should all keep time on sunniforum to the absolute minimum. Its better to spend the month reciting Qur'an and doing plenty of dhikr.

It depends on ones level of Imaan i think. I heard someone once say that as you rise up the levels of faith, what previously seemed halal to you becomes haram. So for example, the way I pray, I might pray very poorly, bad form, adab etc. compared with someone else, however for my 'level', for me to pray might be a good thing in of itself. Taking sunniforum as an example, and I will use myself as a direct example. For me to be on this forum, is better than being somewhere else. i learn islamic things by being on here, in a way I can just about digest. Though to be honest, some of the more political stuff I find offputting, the knowledge about Islam here i find very useful.

Thats true. I'd rather spend hours on sunniforum than spend hours on facebook!

But still, I think its better to limit our time on the internet, just for this month. Its better to spend that time doing 'Ibadah.
