    Default Sunnah Iftar foods?

    As salaamu alaykum.

What are some of the foods that are Sunnah for breaking the fast with?

I am sure we are all aware of dates being Sunnah, but are there other foods that the Rasul (peace be upon him) used or advised us to use to break the fast or to provide others when they break their fast?

I have heard from some that to drink milk at the time of Iftar is also Sunnah, is this correct?

Regardless, if anyone can provide some info about the issue at hand, I would appreciate it.

    Jazakallahu Khair.

    Wa'salaam.
