    MashaAllah, sis aaliyahkhan!

Is there a reason for the sikhs covering the head? I suppose that was what you meant by saying you wore your 'kara'? Sorry about silly questions, but I had never heard of sikhs until 2 years ago when we moved to the uk...

May Allah give you all the best in this world and the hereafter!

Subhanallah, I just read this and I must say Jazakallah to you, sister, for this fascinating insight into a Sikh's journey to islam.

There has been an increase in the number of sikhs (young women especially) converting to Islam in my locality in recent times with unfortunate repurcussions sometimes but this is the first time I learnt anything significant about Sikhism.

The kara is actually the silver bracelet that all Sikhs wear. One of the 5 Ks. The sister should be able to explain the rest including head covering, inshallah.

    Mashallah. Congratulations!!

I am just wondering why do Sikhs hate Muslims so much. I have so many Sikh friends and all of them speak so much against Islam. The funny thing is that they don't want to listen anything negative about their religion in the process. Also they claim that their hate is only response to Muslim hating for them....looks like to me...they believe we talk and speak against them in our mosques...hehe.

Firstly, congratulations! AllahmdulAllah, Allah showed you guidance. It really doesnot surprise me how Allah talla can show guidance to a person who was a staunch anti-Muslim. SUBHANALLAH. I hope & pray from the bottom of my heart that ppl like you lead way to others who are lost. AMeen.

I'm sorry, I know its none of my business but you might like to check on the validity of nikah as one of the previous poster mentioned. Just to be safe.

Once again, Congrats again sister. BRAVO!

~May Allah show you utmost happiness and give you the world & hereafter. Ameen

Very touching. It is simply amazing how Allah loves us, it's just another proof. Allah is great I simply have no words of his blessings. SubhanAllah You are among the chosen. We all commit sins and the second you inverted, you were like a new born baby, completely sinless subhanAllah.

May Allah bless you and your family.

    Keep in touch.
