As I'm sure many of you are aware, there are various different du'as read for qunut in the witr. I would just like to know which has been the most recommended by our Hanafi 'ulama (if there is one considered superior, that is) in order to maximize my reward, insha Allah.
This is the version I know and recite, and I think it is rather popular:
Some common variations I've seen in this version are the addition of " كل " after " ونثنى عليك الخير " ; the switching of order of " ونرجوا رحمتك " and " ونخشى عذابك " ; the addition of " جدا " in the phrase " إن عذابك (جدا) بالكفار ملحق " ; and there seems to be versions with mulhaq (fath al ha) or mulhiq (kasr al ha).
Then, there is the version from Nur al-Idah (which, even when being taught Nur al-Idah, is not usually taught it seems, but rather the above version is taught?):
It's similar, but also includes the salawat (which I've seen in many of the qunut duas for other madhahib).
There is, of course, the famous du'a, the qunut of Sayyiduna Hasan b. 'Ali,:
And of course, there are others, but I mainly want to know which is the best for a Hanafi to recite. I have heard from at least one Hanafi that we should recite the first one, as well as the qunut of Hasan, and the salawat.
jazak Allah
