Cure for 99 diseases - The least being sorrow

As salaam alaikum wa rahmatullah,

Haakim and Tabraani have recorded a narration wherein Abu Hurairah (radhiyallahu 'anhu) reports that the recitation of 'Laa Hawla wa Laa Qoowwata Illaa Billaah' is a cure for 99 diseases, the least of which is Sorrow (worry, depression, difficulty etc.).

Does anyone know what the status of the above Hadeeth is?

Allahu alam but I do recall Shaykh Sulaiman Mulla narrate this hadith in his lecture Depression vs Contentment. The video is on youtube.

There are many similar narrations, but the one in al-Jami as-Saghir of Imam as-Suyuti is Sahih:

عن ابو هريرة رضي الله عنه قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : لا حول و لا قوة إلا بالله، دواء من تسعة و تسعين داء، أيسرها الهم .
