Marriage of Umm Kulthoom to Hadhrat Omar (ra)
Salaam,
I am sure this subject has been addressed in the past but I used the evidence present on SF and other websites to prove to a Shia brother that Hadhrat Omar (ra) married the daughter of Hadhrat Ali (ra). He denied it by saying that this Umm Kulthoom was the daughter of Hadhrat Abu Bakr (ra) and that he would no longer be a Shia if I prove to him that Hadhrat Ali (ra) was Umm Kulthoom's (Hadhrat Omar's wife's) biological father.
Is there any reference, other than the 4 hadiths in Al-Kafi regarding this matter, that proves, beyond a shadow of doubt, that the Umm Kulthoom who got married to Hadhrat Omar (ra) was the biological daughter of Hadhrat Ali (ra)?
I am not saying that he will keep his words after seeing the proof, but I thought it is worth it given that he has been very polite during the discussion.
