"All humans are dead except those who have knowledge. And all those who have knowledge are asleep, except those who do good deeds. And those who do good deeds are deceived, except those who are sincere. And those who are sincere are always in a state of worry." [Imam ash-Shafi`i]

It is not in the rules.
However I am sure you can appreciate our firmness against deleting accounts since many people ask for deletion and then return a month or so later with a new account. Please also note, deleting an account does not delete posts. Thus a moderator who is compelled to delete an account will have to manually go and delete the users posts, sometimes 100+ etc.
You can understand how tedious this may be.

If you really feel difficult to leave the forum but you want to leave for whatever reason, may be change the password randomly and also change the email ID with some random letters and in this way may be you cannot get access to forum. See how you can play with the settings may be. Allahu alam

How much we bother about those 41,001 non-active members?
Do we read all the active 705 members?
Today if a shopkeeper dies then he is buried and next day the shop is open with new person on the counter.
Why do we take this world so seriously?

Assalamu Alaikum
sister there are some people like that everywhere, the reasons you joined Sunniforum still exist I expect, why don't you just stop posting for a while?
Recently on here I have been called an ignoramus (true in some areas), a dyslexic (lol I can't deny it I probably am a little) and yesterday even a friend of Zionists (which is quite insulting), but the people who said these nasty things were not representative of the vast majority of people who come on Sunniforum.
I'm pretty sure that nearly all the people with bad adab on here are either teenagers,
ill educated Muslims and recent converts who have a lot to learn
and a mixture of people who like to cause trouble on here because they have emotional problems
or because they are ideologically opposed to Islam and it is their way of working against it.
Sunniforum is just like a street, some good people, some middling and some bad, but it is like a street where most people are sincere people who adhere to Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaat, believe in following Shariah and benefitting from Tareeqa and who avoid extremes, so it is like a very good street if you ask me.
