The moulana doing the refutation is Hanafi Deobandi. Me'raj Rabbani is a ghair muqallid from jamat Ahle Hadees. The latter is being exposed for being a charlatan, a liar, a misguider, etc. The moulana is not kind to Me'raj Rabbani because Me'raj Rabbani has been unkind to not just Deobandis, but to everyone, including the founders of the Ahle Hadees movement.

As noted in one of the videos, for example, Me'raj Rabbani claims that the term "'ishq" is saved only for a person's relationship with prostitutes! Ml. Zakariyya Kandhelvi was equating a haaji to an aashiq and the perverted Me'raj equated that 'ishq with prostitution...to which the molana in the video brought about evidences of the term "'ishq" being used in Ahle Hadees literature and even points out that one of Me'raj's own lectures is titled "'ishq-e-rasool " (love of the Prophet ).

Do note that it is a very emotion-filled video because Me'raj has been barking takfeer at various personalities of the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah for a long time and has even said that the Ash'aris and the Maaturidis are not from the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'at - despite the Ahle Hadees pioneers themselves saying that the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah is composed of three aqaaid - "Ash'ari, Maaturidi, and Hanbali (Athari)".
