    Default another thread on you-know-what!

I can't believe i'm just starting a thread on this topic (deobandi's and berelvis). must have changed alot since i joined SF :P.

yeah, i know there's ALOT of threads on this subject but i can't stand being left in the dark and i can't understand all these debates on the forum... it's tooo complicated, lengthy and heated! so i'll really appreciate it if you guys can just tell me the basic differences and conflicts between the belief's of the deobandi's and berelvi's?
and... oh yes, i request everyone for a huge favour - please don't start fighting in this holy thread!!!

    brother deobandis belive
1- the prophet was just a bashr e.g like us a human
2-they belive that the prophet had no knowledge of the unseen
3- they beileve the prophet s.a.w is not haazzir and naazir.
4- they dont belive it is permissable to sa YA RASULULLAH

    brailvis beleive

    1. the prophet s.a.w is noor and bashr
    2. he has knowlesdge of the unseen which has been bestowed from allah
    3. he s.a.w is haazir and naazir
    4. we are allowed to say ya rasullah
    5. belive in intercession waseela

the deobandi aqeedah has many disrespects towards the prophet s.a.w and although they disagree with the brailvi aqeedah they still cant find anything that shows disrespect to the prophet s.a.w , the deobandis believe that the prophet s.a.w is more like a ordinary human astagfirullah.

This post is full of half-truths.

Sunnis believe that Rasoolullah was the best of all humans and thus he isn't a bashr like us. That is like saying a Bugatti is a car just like my Prius (sorry, I'm tired and I don't have a Prius).

Sunnis believe that Rasoolullah did have knowledge of the unseen that was given to him by Allah سبحانه وتعالى. He was not 'aalim-ul-ghayb which means knower of all that is unseen as that is only Allah . Ilm of the ghayb was given to Rasoolullah on some issues due to the wisdom of Allah سبحانه وتعالى.

Sunnis believe that Rasoolullah is present alive in his blessed grave. Angels relay salawaat to him. He does not hear everything because only Allah سبحانه وتعالى is al-Samee'. He does not see everything because only Allah سبحانه وتعالى is al-Baseer.

Since Sunnis believe that Rasoolullah is not haadir or naadhir, it is not permissible to say "Ya Rasoolullah " with this belief. Otherwise, it is okay to say it. An example would be saying "Ya Rasoolullah " in poetry or in a naat.

Sunnis also believe in tawassul but reject istighatha.

for giving a clearer understanding, just one question... what is tasawwul and istighatha? sorry its supposed to be two questions coz i see you saying "sunni" instead of "deobandi"... does this mean berelvi's are not sunni's?

by sunni you mean deobandi brother, lets not misguide people,

bralivis belive it is ok to call rasullhah noor and this is proven from the quran

the prophet s.a.w had knowledge of the unseen and this is proven by the hadeeth ps i can quote the hadeeth

the prophet s.a.w is alive in his grave and he knows everything that is happening in his ummah, the fact that angels convey durood to him dosent mean he is not haazir and naazir as angels turn the babie of a pregranant mother this does not mean allah is not haazir and naazir just because it is not done by allah .

to say ya rasulullah it is completely permissable as he is haazir and naazir because allah says in surah ahzaab that he s.a.w 'is sent as a witness' and a witness is one who is present and witnessing,

deonabdis reject istighatha but belive that they can obtain ilm e ghayb from the dead

    mmb786,

I will not be answering SMD in detail here but I will address his points for your clarification. Inshallah I shall do that later on in evening inshAllah. for now I just have one ilzami jawab to SMD.

Yes when we articulate and see all the academia we do not find the disrespect which you talk about. How can we stoop to such level where we find no change in our gheerah to malign Ammi Ayesha r.a accusing her of disrespecting and lowering the status of Rasulullah Astaghfirullah!

InshAllah I will answer in detail later on.

The only shaytaan and sower of misguidance in this thread is you.

Why would I call a mubtadi' a Sunni?

All these issues have been dealt with in previous threads. In fact, some of these issues, when you brought them up in other threads, were soundly refuted in other threads but being the dishonest shaytaan you are, you are blissfully blind. There is no point in talking with you now that we know your true intentions. You take pride in your ignorance and sidestep issues and responses, saying that you do not understand. You even asked for a translation of an URDU scanned document...what kind of a kattar Barelvi doesn't know Urdu?

brother i was not accusing aisha r.a you misunderstood what i mean, i was saying that the hazrat umar hadith proves that he s.a.w had full im e ghayb, yet you still cling on to the aisha r.a hadith, why are you and let me reapeat you trying to lower the status of rsulullah, the aisha hadith has hikmah behind it quote the hadith and let me see it again
