    :salalm:

InshaAllah, I think it would be a good idea if we could also post the daleel for these commonly unknown sunnahs.

If you dont have it with you and are just relating what you've taken from various scholars and sufis, thats fine. InshaAllah it will still be of great benefit. But for those of us who do have the proof for these being sunnahs it would be much appreciated.

    JazakAllah Khair.

when the prophet (s.a.w) walked with a group of people, he would walk behind the others. When he walked, he would lift his foot so that it would look like he was climbing stairs. When he was surprised, he would strike his left hand with his right thumb.
when he spoke he would give the person his utmost attention. If someone whispered something in his ear, he would not remove his ear until the person moved away. I read this in aswai rasool. Subhanallah...such a beautiful person!
Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and expiate from us our evil deeds, and make us die in the state of righteousness along with Al-Abrar. (Al- Imran:3)

From what i've read the above cannot be called sunnah, but rather recommended:

    Bismillah

Can all these really be called "forgotten sunnan"? I mean these are very basic sunnan that I think most practicing muslims adhere to.

Aside from about a handful, unfortunately, I did not know of many of them.

    Dinar and Dirham
It was the Sunnah of the Prophet (s.a.w) to use Gold and Silver coins to buy and sell goods. When there were no gold and silver coins available, he would use Dates, Barley, Rice or Wheat to do so.

There will come a time upon mankind when nothing will be of use(as money), save a dinar and a dirham.

I was about to make a similair comment, because in Tabligh often recommended or manners/etiquettes (Adaab) get taught which are not directly Sunnah.

Yeah, but adaab does not automaticly mean Sunnah. Some manners/etiquettes which are not Sunnah often just get misunderstood as Sunnah.
