There should definitely be a list made of all the valuable posts here and presented on the forum main page as the "contribution of sunniforumers".
Otherwise it's not readable whereas this thread is supposed to benefit muslims.

You do have a point akhi. There is lots of treasure at at SF but it is problem to locate it.

While putting on a pajama or a shalwar (a pair of trosers), one should put first his right foot into the corresponding side of the garment and then the left one into the other one. While putting on a shirt, the right hand should be put into the right sleeve first and then the the left hand in the left sleeve. In putting on shoes one should first put the right foot into the right and en the left foot into the left shoe. While taking off these things, the start should be made from the left side and then the right side.

'to raise hand whilst giving salaam was a practice of Christians and thus to do it is against the sunnah and considered a bidah'
You know have people close or far raise the hand to the chest height or even oust the chest.

To keep a weapon.
Are you sure thats a Sunnah Maripat. Please explain.
My understanding is that the Prophet(pbuh) and sahaba carried weapons because they often took part in battles, and in those days Muslims were persecuted much, so it was for defense and protection against the enemy. Nowadays, the average Muslim need not carry a weapon (unless he be a Mujahideen). Please correct me if Im wrong.
I suppose the question now goes to scholars. Personally I am convinced about it. And of course it is not an invitation to break laws of the land.

To say " 'Alaika wa 'ala fulaanin salaamun" to the conveyor and the sender of salaam when somebody conveys his salam through someone.

Assalamu'alaikum
This is an interesting observation. I am not sure if this was done always as there are instances where they would don their equipment for the purpose of going out in the path of Allah and so we may infer that they did not carry or have it on their person all the time. But certainly this is something that deserves our investigation. Wa a'id du lahum ... is an Quranic imperative we have become unmindful of and needs to be revived in the fullest meaning of the ayah.
Wassalam
