salam elekum, my name is mohammed shafaq and i live in the uk......i have two wifes, one lives in the uk and one lives in pakistan....the wife in the uk i am registered in the register office... since we are seperated and she dosent contact me, i took this matter to a lawyer, and he advised me that the marriage in pakistan is not valid in british law hence no matter what you will have re register the nikka again for her to come to the uk......how-ever to sort her papers out i sent her the divorce papers so that we could sort the id card etc....with my wifes consent as she understood that we are only doing this for a genuin reason...now my says that we are divorced and she is no longer my wife, it has caosed a major upset in my family... please advice me that my heart is witnessed that i did not divorced her......it was purely for her to unite with me.......thanking you.
