bhaijaan, thats' a great find but as far as I know, it was my bro who gave it to me (my YT version of GBD) when he came home from Deoband, and he got it from his teacher at darul uloom who said it was sung by a student of Shah Walilullah Madrasah in bangalore. Dhorat is good but if one observes my version is more 'raw-er', If I come across my bro's Ustaad anytime, I'll see if I can get any more info from him. But there is no doubt that it was Mufti Shuaib Miftahi (Maseeh ul uloom, bangalore) who wrote that naat. In any case, of course, Allahu Alam.

The story goes like this: Hadrath rh recited this naat at a place where there was an abundance of bida't [innovations in Deen] and the people over there had a deep rooted hatred for Huqq and the people of Huqq. Hadrath rh recited the nazm with such purity of heart [ikhlaas] that had an amazing effect on the hearts of the people. After the recitation the people were so overwhelmed that all of them asked forgiveness and pledged to tread on the path of Huqq.
