What foods were in the diet of Rasul Allah

I do know that it is Sunnah to eat honey 3 times a day? Correct? Thats what I heard in Syria...

I also heard he ate vinegar, bread, olive oil, what else?

    Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim

There is a perfect group in english for your question. Extremely perfect. It is called "the table spread of the prophet" sallallahu alayhi was sallam. Not only does it tell you everything he ate, but it mentions the hadith about it. For example, it doesnt just say he ate wtermelon, it tells you the entire hadith with reference. I bought it and then i gave it to someone, so i need to buy it again. It is about 40 pages long or so, and it only cost me 5 canadain dollars.

Hey, i just clicked on the link above. That is the book. It is very book but unfortunatley is is not very well publicized.

    Ma salam

    Oh Muhammad(sallallaho Alayhi Wa sallam)

In God's Holy Words it mentions the Spledour of the Sun,
A clear reference to your countenance-filled with illumination

In the verse of the enshrouding night- the secret hidden there,
Was Of the beloved's majestic locks of admirably black hair

His character was stated by Al-Haq To be Tremendous,
And his inner spiritual courtesy was designed to be pulchritudinous

There was and shall be None like Him ever and THIS....,
I swear by the Creator of His elegant and noble practices

The Creator gave you such an immensely great Station,
That was neither granted before nor in the future shall be anyone's portion

For the Holy Text of the Quran Swore Oh Beloved in insistence!
By Your City, By your speech, and by Your very Existence

    imaam Ahmad Rida Khan

PS. I recall the tableeghi mawlana tariq jamil(d.b) stating that the above was the tafseer of this aayah by imam fakhrudin ar razi- as shamso doha- being the noble luminous prophetic countenance..andthe layl being his hair

tHE LAST verse is a ref to the aayah 1)wa anta hillun be haadhal balad
    and 2)wa qeelihi

    and 3)la amruk
