    Salamalaikum
It seems Maulana had instructed his wife and daughter who had accompanied him to Haj, that if he passes away during Haj, his body should not be taken back to Bangalore. Alhamdulillah he has been granted a place in Jannat Al Ma'aalla in Makkah Mukarramah.
May Allah shower his mercy on him
    ameen

I listened one of Maulana's speech today and Masha Allah he had such a sweet way of explaining the things.

    May Allah give him Jannah.

He had gone to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj. Born in Gonibeed village, Mudigere taluk in Chikamagalur district, he had graduated from a premier Islamic institution from city, ‘Sabilur Rashad’. He was famous for his eloquent speeches (mostly Khutbaat-e-Jumma), and religious columns in local Urdu newspapers.

He held the position of Imam O Khateeb of the famous City Jamia Masjid in the Bangalore for many years. He successfully transformed the Masjid into a centre of Islamic activities for the overall reformation of society following on the lines of Masjid-e-Nabuvi. Maulana’s services in the field of unity of Muslims, education, economic upliftment, and empowerment of Muslim women through education will be remembered.

His contribution in promoting unity amongst different Muslim sects is worthy of mention. He always discouraged sections of Ulama and people from distinguishing Muslims on the lines of their Masaalik(sects). He advised and encouraged promoting of unity among all the Masaalik of Muslims on the basis ofUmmath-e-Waahida (One Community). He used to say, “Let them follow what is dear to them as per theirMaslak while you follow what you think is right. No one can and should judge others’ faith. Still we can live together peacefully and promote unity of all. This is the basis of Deen (Religion).”

Apart from holding the position of Imam-O-Khateeb he served many social and religious organizations in different capacities including Karnataka Muslim Muttahida Mahaz, Milli Council, and Jame-ul-Uloom institutions.

Many leaders from Muslim and non-Muslim communities have condoled the sad demise of Maulana. Condolence messages are pouring in. A few prominent among them are Maulana Sirajul Hasan, former Ameer, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Maulana Qadeer Ahmed Ada-ul-Amiri, Abdulla Javed, State President, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Masood Abdul Khadir, Convenor, Karnataka Muslim Muttahida Mahaz and Syed Hamid Mohsin, Chairman, Salam Centre.

Maulana Riyaz-ur-Rahmaan, Imaam of Jamia masjid, Bangalore passed away at Makkah recently - inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raaji'oon.
Alhamdulilah, had an opportunity to participate in Moulana’s funeral. Here are few things that might increase our E’maan, Insha-Allah.
He was ill soon after HAJJ and was hospitalised for couple of days before he passed away. He had Kidney failure almost 10 yrs ago, .. and that became reason for his death..
Moulana did vidayee Tawaaf (last rite of Hajj - Goodbye to Kabaa) 4 days in advance!!!! This is subhanAllah amazing, he normally does exactly a day before leaving Makkah... this time he along with his wife went to Kaaba and he asked his wife to make intention for vidayee tawaaf, not regular one.. She was also quite surprised, however made intention and started.. this is when Moulana was with good health, just some basic sickness – Cough, cold..
He was bit tired and stopped every 2 circuits and took rest.. and after completing Tawaaf, he came out of the haram and informed wife, he is unable to walk and need Ambulance. He was hospitalised for 2 days and passed away. SubhanAllah he completed Hajj including last ritual of HAJJ – Tawafeye weeda..4 days in advance!!, this is what increased my E’maan to see Allah gave him baseera
He passed around 7.40am on Sunday morning and formalities started. I was under impression that anyone who passes in Makkah will be buried in Jannatul Malaa (Jannatul Baqee is in Madeena), but it was stopped 10 years ago. Moulana’s wellwishers started their efforts to get some influence to get permission to bury him in Jannatual Malaa where pious men and women are buried. Just for everyone’s info Hadrath Khadijaa, wife of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) is also buried in Jannatual Malaa. Alhamdulilah as planned by Allah, well wishers of Moulana got permission through very high influence @ around 2pm and entire paper work was completed by 4pm.
MAsha-Allah, there was a huge crowd @ hospital to get glimpse of Moulana. Subha-Alllah, Moulana had a beautiful smile with full of NOOR. The authorities were tired of allowing so many people and later asked who he is? They don’t normally see such crowd if the person is not local. The incharge officer informed us, he has seen many faces, but not one like this in recent years, infact he said whenever he goes inside the storage place, he opens the door and sees Moulana’s face. He felt nice every time he saw.. Masha-Allah.
There was very young boy standing, maybe 18 years from Bangladesh. He walked upto me and asked, who is moulana to me.. I kept quite.. he said, I saw him and Masha-Allah what NOOR he has.. He is a jannati.. this increased my E’maan, Allah puts in hearts and minds of strangers/people of less knowledge words and messages, that keeps you thinking... how beautifully Allah communicates his signs.. It increased my E’maan..
We took Moulana for Gusul @ Asar and later to Kaaba for Esha salah. All went just perfect as planned by Allah (SWT).. We offered Esha and Salatul Jannazaa by 7.30pm and moved towards Jannatul Malaa. While we were moving out, there was so much crowd that few were worried about some mishap. Alhamdulilah, everything was smooth and perfect. As we had limited logistic support, moulana’s wellwishers came running to Jannatul Malaa to catch up with last glimpse.. Dua was made by Moulanaa Nuthfulla Saheb and some local sheik for Moulana’s Maqfirath... May Allah forgive him and grant best of Hereafter and give sabar to his family and lovers.. aameen Ya rabbal alameen.. And give us death like him... a death immediately after HAJJ, Salatul Janaza in Kabaa and final place of rest in earth @ Jannatul MAlaa.. aameen Ya Rabbil a’laameen..
May Allah forgive me incase I have reported anything incorrect or to satisfy my Nafs(EGO).
    Abdullah
