AALIMA CLASSES - JAN 2012
(Under the the guidance of Mufti Abdur Rahman Mangera)
The Masjid’s aa’limah class is due to start in January 2012. It will seek to prepare students over the course of three years part-time study for the equivalent of a two year full time course.
Many young girls are interested in embarking on an aa’lima course but are not ready to go and join a full-time boarding school at a young age. Parents also sometimes feel insecure about sending their young daughters to a boarding school away from home. Therefore, one of the main objectives of this course is to study the initial years of the ‘Alima course locally while also continuing with normal school and staying at home.
This course has been designed to provide quality education of a high standard for the initial years of study within the locality. After this students are free to go and join other institutions and complete their course.
Subjects covered will be as follows:
- Principles of the Arabic Language and Grammar
- Nahw (syntax-grammar) and Sarf (morphology)
- Arabic Writing
- Tajweed and correct recitation of the Qur’an
- Arabic Literature and Comprehension (Qasas al-Nabiyyin)
- Urdu
- Seerah of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace)
- Hadiths
- Fiqh (Jurisprudence)
- Islamic Beliefs
Classes will run from 5 – 7.30pm 5 days a week and some Saturday classes.
Fees will be approximately £480 a year (£40/month). – Fees can be paid at the Masjid office or Madrasa office (open weekdays 5pm to 7pm).
Age requirement: Over 11s only
