Discrimination in the sense of bias too is not allowed in Islam. Beloved Prophet(PBUH) said that he who invited towards bias is not from amongst us.

So, we think we're 'all-that' and we've got technology to help us weed through our posts etc. but imagine it on a scale of all humanity, for all time. The seen and the unseen, the spoken and the unspoken, the hidden and the revealed... we may be nomadic in our dealings with each other, we may be secretive with one another... we may be selective with one another... we may think we've discovered 'truth' and that we know what goes on in the lives and thoughts of others... but, really? How in the world is that even remotely possible?

Alhamdulillah, we have the capacity to grasp this.
