I can see how the Salafis arrive at their anthropomorphism. The hadith say "you will see Allah like you see the sky" or something like that, also they asked that slave girl where is Allah and she said "in the sky" and the parts of the Qur'an about the "hand of Allah" and things like that.

How did the Sahabah interpret the "seeing of Allah" in a non-anthropomorphic sense?
