I have heard of a hadith in which Rasulullah said there is no better poetry of jahiliyyah than Labid's in which he says something like "There is no being but Allah". Can anybody provide reference to that in original Arabic. Maybe that Hadith is of Bukhari.

The hadith is as follows:

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَصْدَقُ كَلِمَةٍ قَالَهَا الشَّاعِرُ : كَلِمَةُ لَبِيدٍ أَلَا كُلُّ شَيْءٍ مَا خَلَا اللَّهَ بَاطِلٌ وَكَادَ أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ أَبِي الصَّلْتِ أَنْ يُسْلِمَ "

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "The most true words said by a poet was the words of Labid." He said, Verily, Everything except Allah is perishable and Umaiya bin As-Salt was about to be a Muslim(but he did not embrace islam). (Bukahri :Book #58, Hadith #181)

Labeed (رضي الله عنه) was a pagan at the time of reciting of this poem but later on accepted islam. His couplets are as follows(as stated in at-tabari):

ألا كل شيء ما خلا الله باطل
Indeed, everything except Allah is perishable;

وكل نعيم لا محالة زائل
And every pleasure without exception will end.
