Yes, Khan Academy gives excellent education. My brother watches it all the time, and says he's learned more from these videos than at his college.

Quite brilliant- does anyone know if all their videos are strictly blackboard based, or are there also videos with a person in them?

I doubt Shariah compliance will be high on Salman Khan's priority.
But I can not speak from personal experience so only knowledgeable people can chip in.

No, no person in any of the videos. Just a black screen with writing, and his voice. Its all good.

That's pretty sweet. I wonder if I can write a script to download all the videos (might take some days) and keep them for backup in case they ever change their methodology later.
