There is nothing you should say in fact to keep your own dignity. Any onlooker can see the foolishness in your claim that 'Abdullah ibn 'umar () 'invoked a dead one' ! Ask the local drug dealer who happens to be muslim even he won't consider your claim even possible. I mean get your basics right first, then learn how to read properly ulama's texts before lying on them. You claim they said such an such whereas you've not read their whole work.
OK that's the end of discussion for me.

Yes. Because no where in the Qur'an or Hadith it says that clapping is haram. So the obvious logic is that it is not haram. Moreover , Allah has given us "aqal" (rationale) and by using that aqal , we can see the clapping can not be 'haram' because what can be "haram" about it?

Do you honestly believe Ibn Taymiyya was the only scholar to forbid Istighatha?

At least be honest with yourself. If you want to follow the later scholars who allowed it, then at least accept that those who don't are also following scholars.

I didn't say that, I quoted Imam as Subki. It's your choice who you trust more. Brother bugmenot or Imam as Subki (rahimahullah).
