Proof of Making the Khutba Short

I would say all Desi Khutbas (the obligatory part in Arabic) with the Friday prayer included last 5 to 10 minutes. Have any classical scholars mentioned any minutes?

This khateeb whose khutbah and prayer together take ten minutes does not have deep understanding of Islam, rather he is ignorant, because understanding of the religion means keeping the khutbah short and making the prayer long, not effectively destroying them both!

It says on AskImam website :

[...]The Fuqahaa have stated that the duration of the Khutbah on the day of Jumu'ah, from the commencement of the first Khutbah until the termination of the second Khutbah should last the time it takes to recite any one Surah from the Tiwaal-e-Mufassal (the Tiwaal-e-Mufassal include all the Surahs starting from Surah Hujuraat and ending at Surah Inshiraaq.)
