Salafis are better compared to these Barelwi idiots. May Allah give them Hidayat.
Alim is getting more Ajr in the path of Allah. May Allah give good things to Alim in this Dunya and hereafter

May Allah bless the Maulwi sahab and make him a source of hidaya for those mubtadi'in who attacked him.
You need to understand brother, that the Barelwis come from the lowest strata of our society. The vast majority of them are converts from the lower castes of Hinduism who have not been able to let go completely of the religion of their forefathers. They are uncouth, uneducated (Islamically and otherwise) and easily led astray by their so-called scholars. It would be better to pray for their hidaya.

Let's not blame "Barelwis" for what some people did. Barelwi'ism does not have as one of it's pillars to "beat up random Deobandi maulanas". As for Abi Tamim's statement, then if majority of Barelwis are converts from Hinduism, then so are Deobandis (and the claimants to the label "Ahl al-Hadith"). So that's not even a point to bring up to discredit Barelwis. As for them being uneducated, then this is not exclusive to them, and there are loads of uneducated Deobandis as well. In fact, the majority of Indians (Pakistanis included) could still be considered somewhat "uneducated". It's not like Deobandis are some highly exclusive and educated elite.

Posting such news isn't going to get any matters solved, will end up creating more animosity, ever seen our elders take the names of different jama'ts when telling karguzari? Pray for hidayah, these are the very same people who when hit by the truth are gonna do tabligh with great zest

I did not say that the Barelwis are converts from Hinduism but something else. And yes, amongst the Muslims of the subcontinent, the Deobandis are an Islamically educated elite per Arab scholars. As far as discrediting Barelwis is concerned, nothing that I say or do can discredit them further. I was just giving the reason for their behaving like animals. However I agree that most Indians and Pakis can be considered somewhat uneducated, almost as bad as the Arabs of today.

Barelwis are 100 times better than ghayr muqallids, barels once they realise they'll accept their mistakes and accept the truth, they aren't really egoists as the ghayr muqallids are, also barel's have this wrong notion that deo's / tab's don't respect the Last Prophet -pbuh- thats their main contention. imho. From my own experience. I'll any day have a barelwi as a friend than a ghayr muqallid, and I actually have.
