Sister, you also have the option of signing up with one of those online Qur'an tutoring sites online and learning via Skype.
Just google search "online Quran tutoring" and you will see plenty of sites offering. Not all but many have female teachers available for sisters as well, so that's what you will be looking for.
I personally know of qurantutoring.com because a brother I know has been taking classes with them. He loves his teacher and says that the teacher works with him heavily on tajweed (proper pronunciation). Masha'Allah he started reading from qaida originally a couple of months ago and now he is reading Qur'an and he is able to recite with proper tajweed Alhamdulillah.
This is not an "advertisement" for this site but rather I'm just explaining an available option which is good. Also I know a couple of Muslim parents who are having their kids tutored in this manner (online via skype) but I don't know which companies they are using. I was quizzing one of their kids on random simple tajweed rules and I was impressed with the kid's knowledge Masha'Allah, which means the teachers are good Alhamdulillah. I would think Insha'Allah all the sites offering this service will have qualified teachers and will be good. Most of them offer free trials (usually for 3 classes) so you can try one or two and see how you like it. They also work with you to teach you other dua's, kalimas, salat, etc, so that's a plus.
Prices are also reasonable from a "western" perspective. If you break it down into rupees (most seem to be based in Pakistan), then Subhan'Allah they are making some cash, but that's not our concern as long as the teachers are qualified, genuine, and you accomplish your goal of learning to recite the Qur'an as it was revealed to the Prophet
