Is my friend deaf, dumb and blind?
I have given every single advice to my friend about praying in the world! I love him which is why i haven't given up on him yet but i often think about it. I used every single trick in the book. I've tried the soft, friendly approach.
I've tried the emotional blackmail approach (e.g asking if he loves Allah, if so, why disobey his commands?)
I've even spoken to him in a very serious tone and told him, the way he's living, he'll end up in Hell!
It's just so annoying that he knows he should pray but chooses not to because he is too lazy!
Then, when something bad happens for him, or he has an exam, he's quick to pray to Allah!
Should i leave him to it now as i have fore-filled my duty as a Muslim brother or should i keep giving him da'wah?
As bad as this sounds, sometimes i just want to punch him because he's just so lazy! He honestly seems like he does care but cannot be bothered to pray! He has been lazy his whole life!
I always pray to Allah to guide him and my friend doesn't really know how much i care.
What's YOUR advice?
