    Default The path of purification

Waves lash the fortified walls of my heart,

Built Upon the foundations of untamed desires,

Yet these oceans carry upon their crest.....

The name of the True Beloved.

This poem sums up the first lesson of the Naqshbandi Mujjudidi Tariqa. In this day age when the youth often fall into the trap of following their lustful desires the heart is occupied
by the love of the creation of Allah. In the early stages of sulook the seeker on this path focuses upon his heart, making the intention that his heart is being purified by the mercy of
Allah. A further intention is made that the spiritual heart is actually chanting the name of Allah Allah Allah out of sheer gratitude. Progressing upon this path requires immense struggle
and prehaps it is true that our hearts are in need of a lashing to break the walls that the nafs have encrusted our hearts with.

"Never lose hope of the Mercy of Allah"
"Time Is Ticking.......Think before its too late"

Interesting. I think this is what a lot of youth can relate to in todays day & age. Is there more to it?
