why such a feature?? please help

salam alaikom, ok I don't understand why the new posts show at the top of a thread??? it's very confusing, ive never seen such a feature on any forum ive been to...
Can we get the OP at page 1 instead of the last pages??

If you click on 'Settings' (top right corner of page), then go to 'General settings' (on left), under 'Thread Display Options', click on the arrow next to 'Thread Display Mode:' and choose the option; Linear - oldest first, then click on save changes at the bottom. InshaAllah this should help.
