The Imam of Ka'ba, Shaikh Abu Ibrahim Sa'ud ibn Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ash-Shuraim is due to visit Darul Uloom Deoband on 4 March 2012 Sunday in-shaAllah.

The Imam al-Shurain will be visiting India in the first week of March and meanwhile he is scheduled to visit Darul Uloom Deoband and lead the Zuhar Salah on 4 March in Masjid Rasheed.

Abu Ibrahim Sa'ud ibn Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ash-Shuraim An-Najdi Ph.d is one of the Imams and khateeb of the Grand Mosque (Masjid al-Haram) in Makkah. He holds a doctorate (Ph.D) and is a Professor of Sharia and Islamic studies at the Umm al-Qura University in Makkah, and was recently appointed as a Dean and "Specialist Professor in Fiqh" at the University.

He is also known as a researcher in fiqh, a judge, and a writer who has composed many books on aqeedah, fiqh, and Arabic poetry.[citation needed] Due to his position, rank, and love among Muslims, his voice has been widely recorded and is internationally distributed by various mediums. Last year in March, Shaikh Abdur Rahman all-Sudais also visited Darul Uloom Deoband as another Saudi scholar d Shaikh Aidh al-Qarni also visited Deoband and expressed their endorsement to Darul Uloom and its activities.

The conferences and events being organised at Ramlila Maidan and Jama Masjid by the Markazi Jamiat Ahle-Hadees Hind.

The inauguration of the publicity campaign of the 31st All India Jamiath Ahle Hadis National Convention, scheduled to be held at Ramleela Maidan in Delhi on Friday March 2 and Saturday March 3 on the thesis 'Sahabas-Replica of Humanity' will be held in the city at the Town Hall on Wednesday February 22 at 4.30 pm.

Informing the same at a press conference held on Monday February 20, secretary of South Karnataka Salafi Movement, Ismail Shafi said that this convention which is organized once every three years will be attended by as many as 2 lac representatives and Salafi visionaries from India and abroad. The convention will be inaugurated by Mecca Masjid Al-Haram (Grand Mosque) imam Sheikh Dr Saud Al-Shuraim.

The publicity campaign will be held in all district centers of the state and in Mangalore Maulana Sheik Faiz Mohammed will deliver his lecture in Urdu and Maulavi Nasiruddin Rehmani will deliver the lecture in Malayalam. The theme of the lecture will be ‘Islam in the Clutches of Clergies’. Salafi movement central committee president Ahmed Ansar will preside over the programme.

Sheikh also lead maghrib in ramlila ground on 3 march. After that sheikh shuraim gave a speech and was present on stage. Maulana salman nadwi one of the head of nadwatululoom(a madrasah of maulana abulhasan nadwi) gave a tremendous lecture in arabic. Sheikh shuraim was continously crying listening to his speech. I saw sh.shuraim continously wiping his tear during whole speech
