~ Dawah ~
A Phenomenon that runs thru the World.. same way as Blood through the body.... ~~~ just like blood if Dawah is healthy.. so is the Ummah and the World.. if its not... we see spiritual diseases.. around... and... if it completely Stops...... ITs THE END OF WORLD.......

In here I ll reflect my views on Dawah .... to my best.. inshallah
What is Dawah?
Invitation or calling ppl to Allah... swt....is basically calling to three aspects using .. wisdom.... Tawheed , Sunnah and ... Tazkiyah e Nafs....thru introducin them to Akhirah.. Jannah.. Jahannam etc...
Objective......
To try to save mankind from hell fire.. and enter paradise under the Umbrella of Allah's mercy ... by submitting to Allah swt... and follow his prophet...

Who must give Dawah?
Allah swt says in quran...
Qul hazihi sabili ad'u ILALLAH ala bashiratin ana wamanittaba'ani
Say (O Muhamamd) This is my way.... I invite to Allah with clear knowledge.... I and whoever follows me (...does this). Glorified is Allah, and I am not of the polytheists... (12:108)

Accordin to the ayah ... Every muslim is A Da'ee... any one who says and believes in La Ilaha Illallah Muhammadur Rasulullah...and believes Prophet Muhammad pbuh is the Last Messenger has to give Dawah,.....

Whom to give Dawah? ......
~~~~ Dawah should be given to Both muslims and non muslims.... ~~~
Despite the fact as many believe that Dawah is only for Non muslims........ lets see what quran says...
"Invite all to the way of your Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching and reason with them in ways that are best and most gracious..." (16:125)

Invite All... not just kuffaar......... also we see sahabah r.a. used to do dawah among themselves... like reading surah asr... pretty often ... to eachother... when they w'd meet...
Also Allah swt exclusively tells about Dawah in muslims... at several places
Ya Ayyuhallazeena aaminoo.. amanoo ....... and the ayah... fazakir Innafa'atiz zikra..
and the ayah.. innazzikra tanfa'al mumineen,.,,,,
Ae imaan walo.. imaan Lao.. (kya matlab.. come yourself and call otehrs in obedience to Allah ... and Sunnah of Prophet s.a.w ...thru dawah... it surely benefits Believers... )

~ Our Tools for Dawah?? ~
There are 2 important weapons for Dawah...
1. Knowledge
2. Character of Da'ee
Lets discuss them in brief inshallah....

~ ~ Weapon 1: Baseerah - The Knowledge... ~ ~

Prophet s.a.w. said.. Gaining Ilm is farz on every muslim and Muslimah... .. . also Prophet s.a.w said.. gain ilm no matter u have to go to China for it... (by china it actually means far across the world... ) ........
When it comes to dawah.. There are 2 categories...... of Knowledge....
1. Knowledge about Islam
2. Knowledge about Other Religions

Knowledge about Islam:
This can be further categorized in 2 sections...

~ ~ 1. Basic Level ...... Dawah among Muslims ~ ~

This is the knowledge that mostly deals with What and How Based questions.....
This is Fard on every muslim....We all must gain the knowledge that helps us present Islam in A brief clear and comprehensive way......What i mean is we must be able to answer the questions convincingly.. WHAT IS ISLAM? What do muslims believe - (Aqeedah)... . What are the Pillars of Islam... What are the Islamic Practices ? etc.... ........How to pray ... how to fast... etc....
Although for Dawah this knowledge is often useful for muslims... but if presented nicely... it surely helps in Dawah to non Muslims too.

~ ~ 2. Advanced Level...Dawah to Non Muslims ~ ~
This section deals with mostly why based questions.... as non muslims will always question us ... to prove our points.. through scientific, rational, social and political aspects...
Therefore this requires some extra knowledge to prove things...

~ ~ Instant Dawah - Fast Track lines to Advance Level ~ ~

We can Gain knowledge based on proofs & Evidence by two basic ways:
Naqlee - transmitted evidence: present the verses from Quran and authentic Sunnah, and works of Scholars such as Ahmad Deedat... Zakir Naik ,,, Bilal Philips... and others........
Aqlee - Gain knowledge to Provide rational evidence.... for our Audience... on common issues...
Here inshallah i will share some guidelines i observed n found useful in Dawah... if we try gain knowledge along these lines... Inshallah we can have a decent command on some common issues very soon...
Guide Lines - Rule 1
All Religions are mixtrue of truth & Lies... blind faiths etc... and we must try gain knowledge to catch those Lies using Reason and Rationality..
Guide Lines - Rule 2
Truth is only islam ... and Truth... itself is enough to convince ppl....
Guide Lines - Rule 3
Islam is the only religion Independant of Time ... Persons... and Places .....
Guide Lines - Rule 4
No need to get into Geeta or Bible... Our Great Scholars have done the job.... we just need to make use of internet and watch, hear or read stuff from them...

Gain knowledge to present this Rule of thumb in a simple rational way..
An Example
All the religions ...their ~ Titles & Beliefs ~ other than Islam... have clear start points in history... associations with some persons and places.. however problem is... ppl have lived thousands and millions of years before that... . so they simply fail to accomodate those ppl...
For instance Christianity and its belief are centered around Prophet Jesus pbuh..... no matter what christians cannot accomodate... ppl living before Jesus pbuh as Christians.....
Only Islam as a TITLE ( SUBMIT TO ONE GOD TO FIND PEACE) ..... as well as BELIEF System.. (aqeeda) accomodates every human being since first and last day...
Guide Lines - Rules 6
Be as nice to them as possible.................Most effective... ppl see at persons not the religious books....

Say and Do things infront of non muslims that natrually invite questions..
like... its prayer time... i have to pray, use of salutations n terms like Inshallah, Hamdulillah... Subhan Allah.. Hadakallah.. ...etc

~ ~ Weapon 2........... Character of a Da'ee ~ ~
Allah swt says in quran...
"And by the mercy of Allah, you dealt with them kindly. And had you been sever and harsh-hearted, they would have certainly broken away from you" (3:159)
Although ilm is important its not the key factor, This ayah tells that most important thing is our Character... even if Ilm is not there... still we can make difference ... through our character... like Rasullullah s.a.w. and Sahaba...
On other hand... NO MATTER HOW MUCH ILM we have.. If we have bad character... and actions... we will rather block ways of many who would accept islam....

~ Fundamental qualities ~
This ayah tells us about some fundamental qualities... which are must... to have in a good Da'ee
Kindness and gentleness ....Ikhlaaq ..... Never curses/lies or breaks promises/trust
Patience ..... helping ppl as much as we can....try be Good student.. employee.. employer.. customer... citizen etc especially we who live abroad... or work with non muslims.....

~ Additional Qualities ~
Other qualities accordin to quran and sunnah that makes our dawah stronger are Ilm...Hilm.. .... Imaan... A'maal....Ikhlaas.... ..... .... Grief of Ummah .... Crying in Nights...

Q. How can I make Dawah I don have much knowledge?
A. Prophet s.a.w. said Ballighu anni walaou ayah... (Spread even if u know one verse)

Q. Why and How can I make dawah as I live in a Muslim Country?
A. This reas w'd be valid like 15 years ago may be.. but surely not today... we have internet... religous chat rooms... make use of them inshallah..

Q. Why go to others when I myself ... my family arn't perfect muslims... ?

"Anas R.A.relates that, "We asked the Prophet, 'O Messenger of Allah, shouldn't we refrain from calling others to goodness if we don't practice all good things ourselves, and shouldn't we refrain from forbidding wrong things until we ourselves have abatained from all the bad?'
'No,' he replied, 'You should call others to goodness even if you don't do all good, and you should forbid bad things even if you don't abstain from all of them yourselves.'"

~ Muslims are Marketing Agents ~
Satan also decieves by ..... Shyness in talking about Religion .... fears.. .. about material things... etc.... but remeber ..... ~~ We are the Marketing Agents of Allah ~~. anda a good marketing Agent is not shy.... so we have to break the shyness n fears... Inshallah.. ]]

~ Some Tips and Tricks ~

Try Start with Tawheed .... then Risalat and Akhirah... ... and move on step by step.. always...
Try Speak Quran more... It is seen that we ... get excited away quoting bible and other religions etc all the time... uselessly... we must remember that Noor is only QURAN... n Sunnah ... so we must try quote and elaborate quran and Ahadeeth more.. inshallah...
Deal Issues One By One.. A Serious problem... Dont let them Jump questions...

Let them speak more... initially .....about their concepts ... issues ..and views... ... note their points .. and then Respond... Inshallah..
Watch Listen and read stuff by Sheikh Ahmad Deedat, Sheikh Zakir Naik, Harun Yahya etc...
Note down the points and ways to deal with ppl of different backgrounds .. .Hindus.... Christians... Jews Sikhs .. Atheists ..... etc..
Discuss religion more than people n politics
If you get stuck, instead of arguments, take their email / chat ID .. and respond later...
~ BREAK THE RHYTHMS OF SILENCE.... Cry before Allah swt in nights... ... IT IS MOST IGNORED AND Most IMPORTANT POINT....
