Not bad at all apa! :)
But me don't wanna chop anybody's head off or anything like that. I'm all for being sane and decent when associating and dealing with the kuffar and people of all beliefs.
But coming from a non-muslim country i can say with certainty that many of us as muslims suffer from a complex and don't want to stand out (as muslims) from the rest of the crowd.
An example: My friend doesn't want to wear hijaab coz it makes the kuffar feel uncomfortable, she wants to be a role model muslim, want's everyone to be comfortable and attracted to her religion and want's to be open for all. So no hijaab for her.
Others will have no qualms about treating their own family like dirt, but when theyr'e in the company of non-muslims they behave with utmost respect and dignity to show that we as muslims are extremely sociable and not at all terrorist minded.
Likewise there those who attend mawlid and brelvi gatherings to prove that they are humble and have no pride.
There's loads of examples....
Isn't all the above related to compromising the deen or suffering from inferiority complex??? Basically what people are trying to do is behave as if there's not much of a difference between being a rightly guided muslim and a kuffar or deviated muslim. They're trying to prove that inspite of us having different belief's and even worshiping different lords (na'oothubillah), we can still be chums and get along great. WE ARE ALL ONE.
I feel that we are picking and choosing sunnah's to follow.

Our Lord! Take us not to task if we forget or fall into error. (2:286)

We feel inferior because we are inferior.
We are inferior to the non-believers in dunya and we are inferior to our righteous predecessors in deen.
But, we have fallen behind in dunya because we have fallen behind in deen. If we increase ourselves in deen, Allah (swt) will increase us in dunya.

How are we inferior to the non Muslims in dunya?

We are not inferior. In front of a non-muslim a muslim can never ever be inferior. A person who doesn't know how to read or write a single letter, cannot read time, drive or work a computer BUT has imaan and believes ALLAH is much, much, much more SUPERIOR than a great professor or president who has no imaan, rejects ALLAH as his lord and worships someone other than ALLAH.
Period.

"Some will bring kaafir, na-paak british soldiers into the house of ALLAH to give them da'wah before they depart to war! There.... SAID IT!!!"
I think this is unfair. I am sure the intention for this was not to cause harm to Muslims, it is to show the people who are going to invade that Muslims are human and not some de-humanized followers of a mad religion who should be exterminated.
Interesting point about the inferiority complex...I think its very true. For example, In a non-muslim country, celebrities are often sensationalized in the media and when muslims reach the point that they begin to look up to them, then you know that these muslims are suffering from the inferiority complex.
Generally, we will only aspire to be like a person if we perceive their way of life to be better than ours so a good, practising muslim will always look up to Rasulullahas their role model. But any muslim who consciously or unconsciously takes celebrities or the rich as their role model and actually thinks money, beauty e.t.c is the basis of success in the dunya, then they have definitely been brainwashed and deluded by the dunya, but moreover, they are definitely suffering from the inferiority complex.
It may sound far fetched, but I have seen so many people who are virtually OBSESSED with celebrities, its quite sad really. I put it down to the inferiority complex, if they were proud of being Muslim then they would never look up to someone who is so far from the deen of Allah, just like when someone is proud of being bengali, pakistani e.t.c then they're not embarrassed in being openly nationalist.
Having said that, I do think we should have good manners when speaking to muslims and non-muslims alike, but I guess that's another story.
