Why & How you should upload your Islamic audio lectures / bayans to YouTube.

don't directly upload an audio file to youtube, use windows movie maker and create a video file using that, I have said how to create a vid in my first post.

it is permissible, did the 3gp file that you converted to from an audio file, did it contain a picture, image? I don't think so, that's why Youtube didn't accept it.

The problem is most Islamic videos are just talking heads. It is not comparable to a film where there is action, plot, dialogue, changing scenes. That is a big reason why Islamic videos have minimal impact unless they are loud, clear and direct. People have short-attention spans and if you use your Youtube options to view your Analytics, you can see the statistics of how many people listen to the whole lecture, and see for yourself how many stop listening after a few short minutes.

Jazakallah for your tips but I tried and it cuts the last few seconds of my bayan. The actual length is 45 minutes and 5 seconds but it cuts the last few seconds and brings it down to something like 44 minutes and 58 seconds.

Is there any way to fix this?

Jazakallah khairan wassalaamu 'alaikkum.

1. Click on EDIT tab and see the correct duration of the video.
2. And the fade in / fade out times should be set on NONE. Very probably this is where the problem lies.

if anyone wants to convert to a different video format check out, any video converter professional, it does the work... im not sure if that helps
