Quran on Thighs ?

Assalamualaikum,

I understand that there is permissibilty of using and wearing Tawee'z which has Quranic verse in them.

We often see people wearing it around biseps and neck.

However, wanted to ask if such a tawee'z with quranic text be worn / tied to the legs [Thighs, kenee or foot]?

I can't say much about permisibility but what I can say is that make sure the ta'weez has quranic verses and not unknown writing which may actually be magic or shirk or something (which is actually very common even by so-called sheikhs!). Secondly, and most importantly, you should remember that if you believe the ta'weez itself has the ability to protect, then you may be committing shirk. You should only rely on Allah for protection and not on any other thing. So be careful of the intention.

Akhi, how did you make the typo "kenee" three times? May Allah overlook our shortcomings. Anyways, I think you should consult a scholar on this. Besides, why especially these areas?

I came across a quote by Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi d.b about tying the quranic text to thighs for ease in pregnancy. Hence the curiosity. Sorry for the typo.
